Each competitor plays two compositions: one required piece by Mozart, and one piece of choice from the list provided for their group. Note that the choice is not free — you must select one of the four compositions provided and perform it on the day of the competition. Both pieces should be learned and performed without repeat signs, to shorten the performance. Deductions will be applied if you choose to play with repeats.يجب تعلّم المقطوعتين وأداؤهما دون علامات التكرار لاختصار زمن الأداء. وتُطبَّق خصومات في حال العزف مع التكرارات.
The preliminary round takes place on 11 December 2026, during which three finalists in each group are determined.
